Tully Rafting
• 6:30 Pick up from Cairns
• 08:30 – 09:00 Check in to El Arish Tavern
• 09:00 – 09:30 Comfort stop at El Arish Tavern | Last chance to change into your rafting gear
• 09:30 – 12:00 Travel to the top of Tully River Gorge
You will be teamed up with a river guide for the day, who will explain safety & paddling instructions before you take-off into the Tully River for the first half of your white water rafting adventure.
• 12:00 – 12:30 Stop for a brief rest break and barbecue lunch beside the river.
• 12:30 – 14:30 Launch back into the river and raft the lower section of Tully Gorge.
• 14:30 – 14:45 Arrive at the “take out” point and change into dry clothes before boarding the bus.
• 14:45 – 15:15 Transfer back to El Arish Tavern, where you will have the opportunity to purchase drinks and photos.
• 16:00 Depart El Arish for return to your accommodation
• 18:00 - 18:30 Approximate return time Cairns
